Q1.What was/(were) the determining factors that influenced your decision in joining CPAC?
I started off as an intern while I was still an undergraduate. CPAC has given me so much opportunities to acquire the relevant skills, as well as in applying my knowledge into today’s context. For example, learning how more about accounting system/ software that was barely touched on in university, as well as being more expose to the necessary expertise in taxation in Singapore.
Q2.What are your thoughts on the working culture in CPAC?
Before joining CPAC, I was under the impression that the Japanese working culture is stressful and formal. On the contrary, it turns out that the working environment at CPAC is really relaxed and casual, all the colleagues are fun, helpful, and always eager to share more about their experiences and knowledge with one another.
Q3.Please share with us your usual schedule on a work day during the operating hours.
I like to prepare a weekly schedule beforehand, to avoid any due date miss-out. My usual tasks include preparing bookkeeping, management account, financial statement, and tax.
Q4.Where do you see yourself in two years’ time? What would you be doing then?
Probably continue to learn more towards business laws and aiming to become a tax attorney.
